Hiiiieee!! My name is Alex, and I am the Manic Pixie Cat Lady.

 

I say “pretend” to quiet the skeptics who pass by, but I am a full-fledged feline translator, specializing in meoW, prrrRr, MerRp, bRRmeW, and RAfnnph. I have a bachelor’s of science in Animal Translation Communication and a doctorate in Pet Speak. Cats are my specialty, but you might see some honorary cats every once in a while, in the form of canine, equine, procyonine, etc. I’m broadening my education throughout the animal kingdom as we speak.

 

I started my content in 2023, and was using it to help me find a way to laugh, or at least smile, every day. It was helping so much, and I wanted my channel to be here for others who need it for the same reasons. When everything seems so bleak, and reality becomes one dark cloud hovering over my head, these silly talking cats took me out of all of the negativity that was going on around me. The silliness makes it so hard to not laugh even when I’m feeling my worst. It’s so out there, that it is easily able to take me away from the pain of what I’m surrounded in and just have a few moments of relief, where I can just giggle, and breathe, and remember that there is more than just heaviness.

 

This channel is for everyone who needs to feel light even just for a moment in time. Escape in to my reality where my cat Susie runs and owns her own Ninja-Spy SkoO and gym, and my cat Calvin is a budding meteorologist. Most things don’t make sense, but just run with it. The cat’s don’t always tell me everything, so I have to make sense of things by the limited information they provide. I'm here to help you find that laugh or smile that you need, even on your toughest of days.

P.S. No AI is used in my videos, unless someone is submitting AI videos that I don’t realize are AI 😅 I do all of the voices (I adjust the pitch and tone, but it is my voice), I do the color correction, the cuts, the captions, the audio, everything. I'm sure there's something in there, like the sharpening is ai (it's becoming hard to avoid, with the ever changing editing software). But in general, this is all my work. Other than the stars of the video, that is. The videos of Susie and Calvin are my own videos, and are labelled as MPCL Home Videos. They are the only other employees; my cats. They need me to do all the things that requires thumbs. Plus, you know, translator.
