This is a space where I want everyone to be able to introduce themselves and their (furr) babiiies! Or your cats, if you'd prefer that language😸🐈
I want to see you and your kitties I may have seen a lot of, kitties I've only been introduced to once, and new kitties!! messages like these are so spread out on all my platforms... I want a spot where I can go and be like "Maryanne and lilibeth! of course!" and "Oh yes! Alli and floofy nickiiii aaw he's gettin so big..." you know?
Here's mine. ☺️
Hi 🩷 I'm Alex, I'm 37(uuuh I mean...8 errr 92..), and I'm a really weird voice over artist from Canada. I've overcome many of life's challenges by the time I hit my 30s, along with addiction, and have come out of it a much more grateful person. While I still struggle with my mental and physical health, I am sober, and on a continuous journey towards encouraging positivity, joy, and laughter even in the darker moments. I strive for positive mental health for myself and as many other people as I can.
None of that would have been possible without my silly, confused, patient, and loving, 7 and a half year old fluff buckets; Calvin and Susie. They have been with me through it all. I love them with all my heart ❤️
So here's a quick collage of Calvin (the shy, weather-man tabby), Susie (the calico ninja-spy) and I (the disheveled human-person) with them being the reason I'm still here and why I keep smiling. (I'm sick in most of these, I wanted to show how much they don't leave my side. bottom right corner was when I had covid❤️)

That is fabulous! What a beautiful boy! Thank you! :) :)
Sweet to meet you and you beautiful boys!
I love this post and your beautiful pictures!
Hi there ! I'm Marine, I'm copying my comment from patreon to add some picture.
I'm a little Frenchy, mom of two great cats. I wanted to comment with a little video edit of those two cutsy little balls of joy and love but I couldn't find the time and I still wanted to introduce them to the community. So here goes Filou and Gismo, they are not blood brothers but they love each other as if they were. They cuddle and play often together.
Filou was 2 when little 3 months old Gismo came to the house. He wasn't sure how to react at first, but he quickly acted like a mother to him. He let Gismo suckle his belly in a pretend mom/baby way for about a month, and after that, he would bring to him live mice so he could learn hunting. They truly melted my heart with cuteness, and eventhough Gismo is now 1,5 years old they kept a very brotherly relationship. I have a strong connection with them and they help me so much with mental ups and downs (I have ups and downs, and adhd that alternates hypo/hyperactive modes). I can relate so much to your idea that cats help with mental health. Just like discovering your work Alex, and this benevolent community you are building here, I am very grateful.
The stripped greyish is Filou (he has a bit of an introvert like Calvin I think), the redish is Gismo (don't tel Susie but I think he may have a bit of a crush) and obviously the human is me 🙃
I hope I will manage to take the time to make and send you a video edit of them one day. Thank you for giving the space to share this.
I absolutely lovethe upside-down head shot of Calvin!
Hi Alex! I've been following you on YouTube, I dont really do much social media. I'm very new to Patreon and forums and I think I'm having trouble. I'm not sure where to share this comment with you, so here it is 😊 Twice I have responded to Beth, the 1st time I did not see my response at all, the second time, it WAS there, but now it's not. It's not important, I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong! Tell Suzie I think the snipers are sneaking around stealing my comments and I need her help! 😉
Hi Beth, Thank you for sharing your story & your gorgeous pet photos. They all look very contented & happy - both dogs look like they have smiles to me. 😀 I’m pleased they help you through the dark days - such beauties & you too for the loving care you’ve given them.
Take care of yourself.
Tina. (Christina Clarkson). I’m not sure why my profile picture doesn’t show on this particular page - I have a subscription but the image doesn’t show on every page. I’m sure I’m logged in. Hmm … mystery!
Hi, I'm Beth. Thank you so much for being here and for bringing so much light and laughter into this dark world. I am so grateful. I am glad you took time to care for yourself and your kitties and am so pleased that you got on Patreon and started a store. I am so proud of you! Many hugs! I suffer from depression and am always grateful for your adorable and funny videos. They are little rays of sunshine peeping into my dark days. Thank you! I have five cats and two little new rescue doggies. The first three pictures are my beloved 6-year-old chonkster, Halo. The next three pictures are of my five-year-old fluffy spoiled baby princess cuddlebug, Gracie. She was in bad shape when we rescued her but is doing great now! The next two pictures are sleepy-eyed Merlin, our darling little boy. He is 4. His elegant sister, the silvery-grey beauty (also 4), is Misty. She doesn't like to be touched because it messes up her perfect fur! Their plucky, feisty, ever-alert and affectionate 5-year-old mom, Meilani, is the kitty in the last two cat pictures. Amara is our little black and golden-brown dog and is a peppy 1-year-old who had been abused. Poor little Alfie, the little tan boy, was in a bad hoarding situation and malnourished and missing lots of fur. We have fattened him up, and he is starting to get a little fuzz on his belly. I know this is a cat zone, but my kitties have to deal with these new dog-things that have invaded their space, and they are part of the menagerie now, so I decided to include them. Thank you so much again for being here! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love this collage! I am so glad you are here. :)
So cute! 😍
From my post in the Patreon, Rosie the love biter, and the lovely Ru boy who came before.
That looks like some sass right there 😂 Glad you two found each other and thank you for saving him!
she looks exhausted from a long laptop rabbit hole session and now she's not sure if we're living in a simulation.
This is Galahad but we call him Cheech, as in Cheech Marin, He has literally saved my life. We have developed that special language where I understand his purrs and meows and he understands some human words(I have full conversations with him but I'm weird). He sleeps next to me on "his" side of the bed and spends all day with me. If I go out he is at the door with greeting chirp as I walk in. He is violent sometimes but I got him from as a kitten outside. He was chased in to my alley by two very large dogs and I sprayed the dogs with the hose and took the kitten inside. He was fur and bones but my neighbor told me the previous tenant had left him. It's been 6 years and I have absolutely no regrets. He warms my heart every single day as he demands morning gravy, then petting, then napping on the couch, close to me. He is the man of the house and he knows it. LOL Your videos have made me laugh even on not so great days and I' m glad you're starting to feel better. Thank you for all you do.
Hi! I'm Joyce or Joy Bee on FB. My 2 fuzzybutts are Mystery (16 y.o. gray and white tux, mama's boy) and Princess Tutu (alternatively standoffish and needy calico girl . And just for accuracy, her name is Tutu but her title is "Princess", lol. She also recognizes her nickname of Tootz). Mystery is literally my soul cat. He was diagnosed with kidney disease about 5 years ago and I have moved mountains (AKA spent a LOT of money on special foods and vet bills) to keep him as healthy as possible. He has been with me through a lot of stuff and put up with a lot of my crazy life, moves, etc. so he deserves the best! Tutu just plain puts up with me and it's mainly because she loves Mystery. We are in a love traingle in this household. 😂 Anyway, happy to meet everybody and connect. I absolutely love what you do, Alex, and when you're down, I feel like I want to be your mom and bring you soup and stuff, but I live in Arizona, so, yeah. Well, if you ever want to visit the Grand Canyon, let me know!
Mystery and Tutu
Thank you for starting this forum, Alex, and your Patreon account! Your creations are witty, magical, generous offerings to the world, and I greatly admire your openness and generosity of spirit. ✨
My name is Dania. I'm 54 and live on a small island off the west coast of British Columbia, in Canada. Cats have been part of my life since I was born, and I've been active in cat rescue for 20+ years.
Like you, Alex, addiction has loomed in my life: 18 years with anorexia, followed by 17 years with alcoholism. The end of April will mark 8 years of being addiction-free.
I presently live with 10 cats on a small rural property. The youngest 2 cats are 6 months old and 11.5 years old, but the remaining 8 fur kids are 16 years and up, and everyone has medical conditions and/or mobility differences. I'm kind of a science and medicine geek, so kitties who need extra TLC are my jam.
The cat in this photo is Lua, who was made paraplegic by a crushing injury when she was 6 weeks old, about a month before I met her. She has her own book (The Book of Lua: Stories and Wisdom from a Little Cat with Mobility Challenges). Lua stopped me from committing suicide 8 years ago, and she and the other cats, as well as those who went before them and are now beyond the veil, have saved me from despair in this bizarre world countless times. They are way wiser than I can ever hope to be...
That's enough rambling for now. Oh, I nearly forgot: I am also a witch 🧙♀️
Again, thank you, Alex! You are greatly and sincerely appreciated 🐾🤍
Aww - there is nothing like a cat when you are sick! Even though I expect mine would be waiting to see if I die and he can eat me. But he has my permission to do just that in a zombie apocalypse.
