Are we having "Bug Week"???

I may have accidentally created a theme for the week... 😅 I just counted, and realized that I have four videos out of 8 that i have ready to finish that have a bug as the second character.. hehe oops! Cats are funny with buG bUgs, though. This one makes me think that my mom will do that "ew 'shudder'" thing that she does when she's grossed out 🤭🙈 it kinda gave me the creepy crawlies too a little bit, but the absent-mindedness of a cat to this degree is just too cute to pass up.

So I had made plans to run some errands today, but it turns out it's a sort-of holiday in canada... but it's different in every province which is why it gets so confusing. I guess my province considers it a civil holiday, so some things are open, but many bosses can choose to recognize it as a stat and give their workers the day off. And I just checked and my bank is closed... i really needed to head there today but I'll have to wait til tomorrow. I guess I never told you guys this, but two weeks ago someone had gotten a hold of my bank account and tried spending/buying a few things before i caught it and had to replace my card. Then on Friday I got a message about something fishy on my account, and found out someone had basically drained my business account (it's not like there was a lot in there, but they had fun with it in Montreal for sure) So I've filed another fraud claim but still have to go pick up a new business card and see if I'll be getting any of my money back. I am sooooo lucky that I had transfered over my tenant insurance money in to my personal account the night before. This happened on the FIRST of the month. This butthead could have ruined someone's life by spending all of their rent money the morning it was due. I am so lucky I had paid rent early, and that some of my money was on paypal.. and in my other account, but geez. Some people aren't as lucky.. I'm assuming I'm being targeted now because I have a popular account and I'm just going to have to learn to be more careful from now on. People probably assuming I have the money to fund their lifestyle, jokes on them, each time they picked the card that didn't have the most money in it at the time. man oh man... so many worse things could have come from this. I'm just glad I caught them both right away, I still had the money I needed for bills, and am (hopefully) going to see it again some day. Not everyone is as lucky. Scammers really aren't the type to consider other's as real people. They feel entitled to your money because they know how to take it. it's ruuuuuuuuude.

But oh well. It's just money. It's really nice out right now and we're supposed to get a cool thunderstorm tonight. So I might still run one errand that I'm able to today, and then come home in time for the light show 🤭 Calvin isn't a fan of crazy weather, but Susie is. She and I will hang out by the window while Calvin has his (now sound proofed ❤️), box of my socks that he has claimed in my closet where he feels safe.

And I hope you all stay safe and stay hopeful. Don't let the manipulators and the takers mess with your peace, today. What's been helping me lately when I find myself overwhelmed about my day, is I'll sit there and take a deep breath, and start listing everything I'm doing today as if it honestly is going to be a great, smooth sailin', breeze of a day. My brain has become a little easier for me to understand, and I think I'm getting better at saying the right things to myself for encouragement, or for a mood change, what have you. Give it a try, you'll be surprised at how easily you can manipulate yourself into being happy. You just need to remember; YOU control the brain. YOU get to decide how you want to feel in the end. It's easier said than done, so if you're not up for it today I understand. But just keep it in the back of your mind for when you need it and think you might want to give it a try. This method saved me on a reeeeally dark day, once.

p.S. The funniest thing that I saw on my online banking before I shut it down, was that once the money was pretty low, they tried to buy an Uber. and when that got denied, it showed that they took the train and I laughed so hard. hahaaaa made you take public transit! Big Weeney..
