Good morning! Oh crap I left my coffee in the kitchen... ok I'm good now. How is everybodyyyy??? I'm in a strange mood this morning. Calvin and Susie were trying to wake me up from 4 am so I'm a little hazy.. silly monkeys.
Because I can finally put something specific in to words, I'm going to address it with a teeeeenie rant if thats ok. I think the one thing that has been causing me a lot of stress when it comes to everything from our news, to social media and how we treat eachother, is our line of "fairness". We've always treated the opposition (usually in debate) with respect when it comes to giving them time to speak, not cutting them off, allowing them ample time to respond, respecting them in our responses and vice versa. It is the best way to have a fair argument where everyone gets to say their side of things. But we're starting to forget that respect in debate needs to be earned by being honest. But for waaaaay too long now have we given that respect to people who outright lie. They know they're lying, you know they're lying, and yet they get to finish sentences, don't get cut off, and get to finish a whole debate under the assumption that they did it right. THIS IS NOT OK. This is what I'm talking about when I bring up the Paradox of Intolerance. I refuse to let people yabber on when it's purposefully dishonest and destructive, and the fact that I continue to see news anchors and other intellects just let them go ON on their own shows just baffles me. It says that your honest facts are no more important than their lies, and opens up questioning everything that's true from the you because you gave space for the dishonesty. Take back your power for goodness sake. You can't win against someone who debates in fantasy. We act like we don't understand why so many people are confused and misinformed, while allowing garbage information to just go out in to the ether like it's OK because "you have a rebuttal". It's not. ever. Stop airing their lies. The least we can do is keep them off of decent programming completely. make them go away by not giving them a platform. Perfect example of something I would like to see: no more "Trump Teases the possibility of a Third Term". It should be reported instead as "Trump Teases the Impossibility of a Third Term." It's not that hard to make the language stronger. Arg to the enth degreee I'm tellin ya! aarrrggg
I feel good after that arg. So I will move on to something way more exciting and important; I have new merch in my shop!! New t-shirts and a couple extra things! I'll be adding more designs in the next few days, but I really wanted to make sure I had a few things available for pride month! I drew some derpy looking potato cats and I'm really enjoying their smooshiness 😆🤭

I already have the one with the green box background, the line up of all four, and of course I pretend Cats can Talk, because I can't not have that shirt. hehe. So you can click on that picture i believe and it will take you to the shop to go have a look-see. I'm hopefully working on the catio again today too, and lots of progress so far! sooooo excited to show you guys when it's all done 🥰 I really hope it turns out the way I'm envisioning.
Have a lovely day! and a beautiful june ❤️ Go frolic 😌
Love Alex, Calvin and Suuuuusie.
