Happy Mother's Daaaay!!

Happy Mother's day to all of the amazing women out there! Cat moms, dog moms, human-people moms, other moms, step-moms, adoptive mom, foster moms, awesome aunties, big sisters, nanas, memeres, grandmas, nannies, and caretakers; we love you. Thank you for being the reason there is still love in this world. Thank you for being stronger than anyone, and doing the hard things that no one else wants to do because you have to. You are the superheros in this world. Not the billionaires, not the CEOS, not all of the men who want to go to space, build skyscrapers, or think that women should stay quiet. It's you. and one day I hope for a world that rewards it too 🩷

I love you Mom. You are one gigantic reason I am not lost. I don't think it would have been possible to pull myself out of the incredibly large hole I had dug, without you. Everyone else had given up on me. For good reason, there were no signs that I would ever recover. I had even completely given up on myself. But receiving genuine love from you at a time when I had lost hope of ever feeling that again... that was strong enough for me to beat all of the statistics and make it out the other side. The difference between me and my friends who suffered a different fate, was having you for a mom. I know you'll say that I did it myself, but I did it myself with the strength I got from knowing I had your support. I wouldn't call that doing it myself at all 🩷 I love that we are closer than ever now, and I wouldn't trade that for anything. Thank you for being the most amazing, supportive, kind, exceptional, loving mom I could ever ask for. I can't wait to live closer to you and see you as often as I can 🩷
