it's the small victories

I feel very proud of this orange. I bet he has been working on that all day.

Omggggg Calvin and Susie won't let me sleep past 4:30am anymore 🙈🙈🙈🙈 I am so so happy that the three of us are in a good place again. But that means they miss me when I'm sleeping and when morning comes around that's it for me 😆 Susie walking all over me, glaring at me like I insulted her in my sleep. And Calvin just siiiiinging and jumping up and down and looking all cute with his belly up when my eyes open. He knows what he's doing. they both do, I love them 🥴❤️🥹 Butt heads.

It's slow moving on the catio this week. The rugs that I'm getting rid of are sooo heavy and awkward. and so I've had to divide them into groups of two or three to take down to the dumpster. I absolutely love doing things on my own, but man oh man do I wish I was stronger. Being already pretty weak in my upper body and then getting Rheumatoid Arthritis hasn't been the easiest when it comes to things that need lifting or just hard work in general. But I'm determined! I may have gotten a bit frustrated yesterday and voiced to my mother that I wanted to take them to my ex's house and set them on fire on the front lawn (He sort of forced me to take the rugs for my balcony, even though I knew they were moldy and mildewy and weren't any good..) I have no idea why my mom didn't find that HILARIOUS... because I would never... 😐... anyways I cooled down and told myself that even if I could only do one trip to the dumpster a day, I'd still have it done by the weekend. So keep on keepin' onin' I always say.

So, my loves! Eat the good food, the cheese, and the cookies. Smooch your kitties on the foreheads, and have the kind of reaching stretch that cracks your back. Take some pauses today to reflect. And always remember that you are not alone. You are loved, and are valid. You deserve peace, joy, and the opportunities to be as silly as you possibly can. Because life is way too short to be too serious.
