Oh No! My Pantaloons!

Dottie is one of Whisker Rescue's tortiest torties, she's looking for a home to suit her needs, and really misses having a human to love and snuggle with. Whisker Rescue says this about Dottie, "Dottie came to us from animal services, we presumed abandoned by her owner. She is a chunky adult, no real date of birth but we are assuming around five years of age. She has actually really nice teeth with not much tartar! she is such a character, she loves laying like this on her back exposing her naked belly, this is aaalways how she's found ,lol 🤭 Being a torti, she is spicy and needs to be the only kitty in the house. She gets jealous and will go after other kitties and will fight with them. On her own she is amazing, loves to lay directly on your paperwork so you can’t get a thing done. We are looking for a very special home to open their hearts to her." . Let's find her furrever home.

Hiii! I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. I had such an amazing visit with my Mom, and a very successful trip to the vet for Calvin. It was so successful that I was shocked. He was so trusting when it was time to head out, and he only cried a bit in the car. He was excellent with our vet, only used his hulk strength on the table a few times but I was there to loosen the grip he had. And best of all I never lost hold of him, so the thing that's the hardest to recover from never happened. He's... nowhere near as sick as I was fearing. I'm almost confused 🙈😅 his tests came back pretty good.. Like, I need to keep watching managing it with food the way I have been... but... (don't tell Calvin I said this) I think he's being a drama queen in the litter box. Which is the best freaking news I could have ever asked for. I never would have guessed that this wasn't serious, let alone not serious enough for surgery... so... no surgery?? 🥹😵‍💫I'm very overwhelmed because you couldn't have prepared me for that if you tried. on top of all that, when we got home he was acting like a whole knew cat. Running around super confident even with my mom there he was acting more relaxed and happy than I've seen him in a while. My mom thinks it's because he was probably assuming we weren't going home afterwards. Usually when I have to pack him up like that I'm moving, so when he happily ran around the apartment looking like he was making sure it was the same place, we couldn't stop laughing.

I actually have a video of the experience for you guys with much more deets, but I'm just waiting on a reply from my vet that it's ok I use some recordings I took; I don't want to post that until he oks it. But hopefully I'll hear back today ❤️
