Susie does a lot of conquering as a full-time Ninja-Spy with her own Skoo to run and everything. So even she knows it's responsible to have a little talk therapy once in a while; with a friend or loved one, a therapist/counsellor, or even your cat.
Talk things through, talk things out.
Even if you consider it "your problems", just saying it to someone, hearing it out loud does wonders on your own perception of the situation. If you keep it all in, Susie thinks (and I agree) that you're gonna "esPLODE".
I am saying all of this as a way to call myself out, too. My PTSD has exacerbated my ADHD mentality around "abandonment"... and after Christmas my Counsellor had to go on leave for family reasons. I started to panic. Instead of going ahead with another counsellor, I just decided to "wait" for her.. because the thought of not having her anymore causes me to have extreme anxiety. I went in to full blown snotty, hyperventilating, panic attack mode when my last counsellor announced in group that she was leaving, and when they first told me that my current one was going on leave i found myself unable to breathe. I haven't spoken to anyone (counsellor wise) since before Christmas and I think it's time for me to call and see if she's back, and if she hasn't, to book someone else... If I post it on here I have no choice. I can't seem to get myself to do it unless I tell on myself I suppose.
There will always be room for growth. So take care of your mind and your heart. And always protect your peace.
